History & Training

Most of my working life was spent with the Grand Hyatt Kauai. I maintained a position of Tidepools server for much of my 14+ years there. It was a good paying job that I enjoyed, with the many hotel perks and benefits. I was convinced I’d be a career waiter and had no intention of leaving.

Having been blessed with many great jobs I never thought I’d actually act on something outside the service industry.  Its easy to become complacent in a perfect situation like that and I’ve long forgotten the drives I’ve imagined as a child. My whole narrative of what I wanted to be when I grew up changed… or so I thought.

Enter the recession of 2010. Certain criteria needed to be reached for my unemployment to continue.  And one of those paths led me to employment at the St. Regis Princeville as a spa attendant.  While it would only last little over a year.  I made unforgettable connections that would change the trajectory of my professional life.

As long as I could remember I've long passing interest in pursing a massage career. My real interest in the field wouldn't peak until July 3rd 2013 where I experienced something that would alter my perception of Massage & define "Body Work".

Having spent much time with my friends at Salon Kai Kauai (former St. Regis Ohana), There I was able to meet my would be mentor Kimberly Klein and witness the results of her unique therapeutic style and its effects on her clientele. Myself having good mobility and no chronic pain, I needed an experience first hand.

My time with Kimberly left me with renewed sense of self. Addressing issues that I didn’t know I had and in hindsight made sense. My body felt light and energetically centered! In that moment I knew I wanted to devote my time learning this craft.

Kimberly soon took me under her wing. Guiding me in the ways of then named Sadhana Therapy. The currently named Body Evolve came about as way to better convey how the body is approached and it’s potential to improve quality of life.

After a few years training with Kimberly I enrolled at Golden Lotus Studio to pursue my massage license.  Graduation took place July 2015 and was licensed shortly after. I officially began my practice early 2016 working out of a studio located near the Mormon Church in Kapa’a

In 2019 I left my job at the Grand Hyatt to pursue massage/bodywork full time and relocated my practice to a studio at Epic Hair Boutique in Kapa’a where I currently reside.
